2018年，四川省残疾人联合会第七次代表大会将在成都召开。这次大会是推进新时代治蜀兴川残疾人事业再上新台阶的重要契机，是全省广大残疾人和残疾人工作者政治生活中的一件大事。为加强宣传引导，营造隆重热烈、团结鼓劲、务实奋进的浓厚氛围，省残联在全省上下同步组织开展了“奋进新时代 共享新发展”典型事件（人物）评选活动。

经广泛征集、层层推选，五年来“最具影响力的十件大事”“最贴心的量服个案”候选名单脱颖而出，现进入网络投票阶段。主办单位将结合网络投票，综合评选出“最具影响力的十件大事”10件、“最贴心的量服个案”10个。

<span style="font-size: 14px;">巴中市平昌县镇龙镇万家村刘秀娟，现年32岁。17岁时因高位截瘫被迫辍学在家，通过读书焕然一新，看书、写诗成为了她生命中不可缺少的部分，她还办起了免费“爱心书屋”。</span>
